'Portraits for beginners' workshops

£45.00

Drawing is a great way to relax, relieve stress and focus your mind.

In these 2 workshops, you will learn how to draw realistic portraits using pencil, charcoal and other sketching media.

Do you think it will be too difficult or you need previous experience?  Absolutely NOT!  From many years of experience, I have developed a successful formula for teaching the skills and knowledge needed to draw realistic portraits.

During the first session you will learn about the proportions of the human face and how to draw each facial feature in detail.  You will also be able to experiment with a variety of drawing tools on different papers.

In the second session you will find out how to obtain a 'likeness' of a person and will be shown how to add tone and form to your drawings to make them more 3 dimensional.

You will work from photographic images provided my myself (or your own, or a combination)

This workshop is suitable for BEGINNERS or those with a little drawing experience, age 15+. Absolutely no previous knowledge is necessary!

ALL materials will be provided as well as refreshments during the 2 workshop sessions.
