This is one of the most iconic views along the Causeway coastal route in Northern Ireland. Viewed from the road above it depicts the picturesque hamlet Portbradden nestled beneath the cliff at the western end of Whitepark Bay. I chose to paint Portbradden from a distance so that I could include the stunning countryside, cliffs and ocean which surround it, particularly the beautiful turquoise waves rolling in to the bay
