Nun’s Walk, Portstewart

£500.00

This view is a section of Porstewart’s cliff walk which is one of my all time favourite walks and kept me sane during the Covid days. It starts at Strand road, just past the golf club and ends at The Crescent. I have painted the final descent where you can see the promenade ahead where I treat myself to a coffee or ice cream from the many eateries before making my return journey. On route the views of Portstewart Strand, the ocean and the County Donegal hills are incredible. The path is affectionally known locally as the ‘Nun’s walk’ because you pass the Dominican Convent, now attached to a local school, an imposing and instantly recognisable Gothic mansion sitting on the edge of the cliff.

This acrylic painting has been professionally framed in a white wooden frame and is ready to hang.
