This acrylic painting is an addition my 'mini' series, showing the beautiful Portstewart strand in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland as the sun is just starting to set. This is a 'one off' original painting (no prints will be made) and although it is only 20 x 20 centimetres in size, it does not lack in detail and impact. I have used a palette knife for this particular piece so there are lots of interesting textures on the canvas which I have tried to show in the zoomed in images. The painting is on a high quality and 'chunky' Winsor & Newton canvas (depth 3.5 centimetres) and is sold varnished and ready to hang without a frame. It looks great on its own or could be displayed among other pieces from my 'mini' series.
