Mussenden Temple is one of Northern Ireland’s most iconic landmarks perched on the cliff edge at Downhill Demesne, near Castlerock in County Londonderry. It’s dramatic location high above the Atlantic Ocean is an artist’s dream, offering spectacular views over Downhill strand towards Magilligan Point and County Donegal. The building itself, built in the 18th century, is unique so I wanted to include in the painting as much detail was possible to reflect its grandeur.
This acrylic painting has been professionally framed in a white wooden frame and is sold ready to hang.
